Flying Cars, Jetpacks and Robot Butlers.

Today, we entered a new year. Wait, scratch that. Not just a new year, but a new decade! I posted a "Year in Review" a couple days ago, you should go check it out. But I got a text from my sister Jodi talking about how 2010 will be a futuristic year and that got me thinking about it. I mean, we've already had cars that double as boats, phones that can do almost everything, even jet packs! So how long do you think it will be before we actually have all of those things. My guess is not so long.

So let's see, I've been on winter break these past two weeks and let me tell you, it was great! Boring, but great. Slept in till 1-2ish everyday, then just lounge around the house all day doing nothing. It is fantastic! But it did get boring and I'm actually looking forward to going back to school Monday. Maybe it's because after this next week, I have a 5 day weekend the week after that(Thurs., Friday then Monday). That and I'll get to see my friends and actually do something instead of just being bored all day.

Well that's all for now, peace.

Driving is overrated.

Well here it goes. My first official entry in my blog! Some days I'll have one topic to talk about, some I'll have all sorts of things to talk about. Today though, I am going to talk about one.

I am now officially street legal, when just about 4 days ago I said driving was overrated on Facebook (and I'll have you know, 3 of my friends "liked" it). And honestly, I still have that feeling. In my mind, having a permit is one of those things that you get just so you can say you have it. I mean, that isn't the only reason I got it. I do like driving and have been driving for a while and I have a pretty sweet ride. Also I had to get in before all the rule changes take place 1/1/10 so I could get in the grandfather clause (cause no one wants to be under the new rules).

But driving turns from this :

to this :

Then there are the people who don't have a clue what they are doing and shouldn't be driving at all. Then there are the "I have to drive with my feet because I'm talking on the phone, smoking a cigarette and eating a honey bun at the same time." people.

But enough about the drivers, lets talk about the test. When I was studying for it (reading the book) it amused me that no one does these rules. I was talking to my mom and sister before the test and we were talking about how if this test just had common sense questions and questions about what people really do, then this test would be a piece of cake! For example, if two people come to a stop sign at the same exact time, who has the right of way? Well the book says the person on the left has the right of way, but the REAL answer should be "Whoever gets waved on to go first."

But don't get me wrong, that "Waved on" answer can get complicated. For example, I've been in a situation where I've seen both people wave each other on, then neither go and traffic comes so they both have to wait another 5 minutes before they can go.

Well I think I have written enough for now. Good-bye

My new blog!

Hello, you might know me from "Tyler's Week In Review", if you don't know what that is, go check it out.

Now I know what you are thinking "But Tyler, you haven't written anything in so long on that, why in the world should we think you are going to write anything on here." And to that I say, shut up. While it's true I haven't written anything in a while, I will start writing things on it again Monday, the 28th of December and then continually writing on it.

I decided to make this blog because I thought it would be fun. On TWIR, I only write about the news and its weekly, on here I can write whatever I want, whenever I want. That, and I have nothing else to do during Christmas Break so I thought "why not?". So "Follow" me (not literally, that's just creepy" and enjoy.
